Dear Somebody (you know who you are),
I feel like I have lost a friend. You were so nice to me that I can only believe you are absent because of something I did wrong. I feel bad, because I didn't know how to console you after you lost your father to Parkinson's. I could only stand next to you and watch you suffer. I couldn't offer a drive to a beautiful meadow, and it felt weird to ask you to do the driving yourself and for me. It probably would have been a good idea. But being poor has a funny way of making me think that all my ideas are bad, because they aren't generating income for me.
I miss you, and I hope you are doing well.
Always,
Faith
